Terms & Conditions

The rules for buying tickets, selling events and using Zivora Ticket Hub — written to be read, not just scrolled past.

01

Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Zivora Ticket Hub ("Zivora", "we", "us") — the website and services that let organizers list events and sell tickets, and let customers discover and buy them. By using Zivora you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Where these Terms refer to another Zivora policy, that policy applies as written on its own page: Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Cookie Policy, Organizer Terms and Trust & Safety.

02

Zivora's role vs. the organizer's role

Zivora is a ticketing platform. Events listed on Zivora are created, owned and run by independent organizers. Zivora does not organize, own, sponsor, operate or guarantee the events listed on the platform unless an event page expressly states that Zivora is the organizer.

Zivora is responsible for
  • Operating the platform, checkout and ticket delivery
  • Issuing each ticket with a unique QR code and recording check-ins
  • Recording ticket and merchandise orders and organizer sales
  • Providing customer support for platform and ticket-access issues
  • Enforcing these Terms and our platform rules
Organizers are responsible for
  • The accuracy of their event listings, dates, venues, pricing and content
  • Delivering the event as described and holding any required permits
  • Their event's refund terms, cancellations and postponements
  • Fulfilling any merchandise they choose to sell
  • Admitting valid ticket holders at the door

Event information is supplied by organizers. Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, subject to Zivora's platform rules. Zivora may remove or suspend listings that breach these Terms.

03

User accounts

You can buy tickets as a guest without creating an account. If you create an account, you must give accurate information, keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account. Organizer accounts are subject to the additional Organizer Terms.

Guest purchases can be retrieved any time with your email and order number at Find My Ticket. If you later create an account with the same email, your earlier purchases are linked to it.

04

Ticket purchases

All ticket sales are subject to availability. An order is confirmed only when payment is completed and you receive an order confirmation. Ticket quantities are reserved at checkout so that a ticket tier cannot be oversold; if a tier sells out while you are paying, the order will not complete and you will not be charged.

Tickets are delivered digitally as QR e-tickets. You can view and download them from your order confirmation, My Tickets or Find My Ticket. Please check the event details, date and ticket type before paying; organizers set the terms that apply to their event.

05

Payments and service fees

Zivora offers the payment methods shown at checkout. Prices are displayed in the event's currency (Kenyan Shillings at launch). Payment status labels at checkout (for example "test mode" or "sandbox") describe how a payment method is currently operating and are always shown before you pay.

Any Zivora service fee that applies to your order is disclosed clearly in the order summary at checkout before payment. The service fee applies to ticket purchases; merchandise is priced separately by the organizer and shown as its own subtotal.

We do not store full card numbers or M-Pesa PINs. Payment details are handled by the payment method you choose. For refunds of payments see the Refund Policy.

06

Merchandise purchases

Some organizers offer event merchandise at checkout. Merchandise is sold and fulfilled by the organizer, who sets the product details, price, sizes/options, availability and the pickup or delivery instructions shown at checkout and on your confirmation. Merchandise stock is reserved at checkout in the same way as tickets. Questions about a merchandise item, its fulfilment or its condition should be raised with the organizer first; Zivora keeps the order record and can help you reach them.

07

QR tickets and event entry

Each ticket carries a unique QR code. It is scanned once at entry and then marked as used; a ticket that has already been scanned, cancelled or refunded will be declined at the door. Keep your ticket private — anyone holding a copy of your QR code before you arrive may be admitted in your place.

Organizers control admission to their events and may require identification or apply age, dress or conduct rules described on the event page. Learn how tickets and check-in work in the Help Center.

08

Event cancellations and postponements

Organizers may cancel, postpone or materially change an event. Where this happens, the organizer's stated event terms and the Zivora Refund Policy determine what you are entitled to. Zivora will use the contact details on your order to inform you of changes we are made aware of.

Zivora is not the organizer and is not responsible for the decision to cancel, postpone or change an event, or for travel, accommodation or other costs you incur in connection with an event.

09

Refunds and disputes

Refund eligibility follows the organizer's event terms and the Zivora Refund Policy. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and the related tickets are marked as refunded so they can no longer be used for entry.

If you have a problem with an order, contact Zivora Support with your order number. We will review the order record and work with you and the organizer toward a fair, transparent outcome. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.

10

Organizer responsibilities

Organizers must provide accurate event, ticket and merchandise information, hold the rights and permits their event requires, honour the tickets they sell and comply with applicable law. Organizers may access attendee information only to deliver their event and manage check-in, in line with our Privacy Policy.

Before receiving a payout, organizers complete a payout verification step. Zivora may withhold payouts, suspend listings or close organizer accounts where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached. Full details are in the Organizer Terms.

11

Prohibited and fraudulent activity

You may not:

  • Copy, alter, forge or share QR tickets, or attempt to use a ticket more than once
  • Buy or sell tickets using stolen payment details or otherwise commit payment fraud
  • Create listings for events that do not exist or that misrepresent the organizer, venue or line-up
  • Interfere with the platform, scrape it, or attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours
  • Use Zivora for anything unlawful or in breach of these Terms

We may cancel orders and tickets, suspend or terminate accounts, and report activity to the relevant authorities where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse.

12

Intellectual property

The Zivora name, logo, artwork, software and platform content belong to Zivora Ticket Hub or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. Organizers keep ownership of the posters, descriptions and product images they upload and grant Zivora a licence to display them on the platform and in order communications for the purpose of listing and selling their events.

13

Privacy and data

How we collect and use personal information — including what is shared with organizers for event delivery and check-in — is explained in our Privacy Policy. Cookies are described in the Cookie Policy. Our approach to platform safety is summarised on Trust & Safety.

14

Limitation of liability

Zivora provides the platform "as is" and takes reasonable care to keep it available and secure, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Zivora is not liable for the acts or omissions of organizers, for the quality, safety or delivery of any event or merchandise, or for indirect or consequential losses.

Where Zivora is found liable in connection with an order, our liability is limited to the amount you paid Zivora for that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

15

Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts, cancel orders or remove listings that breach these Terms, our platform rules or applicable law, or where required to protect other users. You may close your account at any time by contacting support; tickets already purchased remain valid for entry unless cancelled or refunded.

16

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be highlighted on this page; continuing to use Zivora after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
