Cookie Policy

The small amount of browser storage Zivora uses to keep you signed in and your tickets within reach — nothing more.

01

What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Local storage is a similar browser feature used to remember information between visits. Zivora uses both sparingly, only to keep the platform working and to keep you signed in.

02

Essential storage we use

  • Sign-in session — when you log in with email/password, a session token is stored in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in; Google sign-in may also set a secure session cookie.
  • Guest ticket access — when you buy as a guest, a private access link is included in your confirmation so you can open your order without an account.
  • Dashboard preferences — for example, remembering that you dismissed the organizer welcome guide.
These are strictly necessary. Without them you could not stay signed in, complete checkout or open your tickets.

03

Analytics and advertising

Zivora does not currently use third-party advertising cookies or ad networks, and does not run third-party analytics trackers on the platform. If that changes, this policy will be updated first and any optional cookies will be described here before they are used.

04

Payment providers

When you pay, the payment method you choose (M-Pesa or card) may use its own technical cookies or app sessions on its side to complete the transaction. Those are governed by the provider's own policies.

05

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Because Zivora uses only essential storage, blocking it will sign you out and may stop checkout or ticket access from working until you allow it again. Logging out removes your session token from the browser.

See how we handle personal information in the Privacy Policy.
